The school celebrated Onam with great joy and enthusiasm on 29th August 2025. The program was held soon after the completion of the First Term Examination. As part of the celebration, a Pookalam competition was conducted for the students. The Lower Primary students showcased their creativity by designing Pookalams on A4 sheets, while the Upper Primary and High School students took part in an energetic house-wise Pookalam competition. The four houses of the school displayed colorful and attractive floral designs, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and festivity. The celebration not only highlighted the artistic talents of the students but also helped them to cherish the cultural heritage of Kerala. With the conclusion of the day’s events, the school closed for Onam holidays, which will last for a week. Classes will resume after the holidays.

Udaya Higher Secondary School organized an enriching field trip for students of Classes 2, 3, 4, and 5 to Kadambar Manne on 31st of July. The visit offered the young learners a first-hand experience of traditional farming practices and rural life. Accompanied by their teachers, the students eagerly explored the lush paddy fields, where they observed live demonstrations of ploughing and paddy planting.
