Udaya Weekly Continues to Nurture Young Talents in Its 8th Edition

The 8th edition of Udaya Weekly was released on 31st October 2025 in a simple and meaningful ceremony held at the school. The event was graced by Principal Jerald Ivan Crasta, who officially released the edition. Miss Prateeksha and the students of class 4 actively participated in the event. The latest issue of Udaya Weekly highlights the theme “National Festivals”, featuring articles, drawings, and poems prepared by the young minds of the school. In his address, Principal Jerald Ivan Crasta appreciated the students and teachers for their creativity and teamwork. He encouraged everyone to cultivate the habit of reading and writing, calling Udaya Weekly a platform that nurtures talent and expression among students.

Colours and Candles of Deepavali

The school organized a colourful Goodu Deepa and Diya Competition on 21 October 2025 in connection with the Deepavali celebrations. Students from various classes participated with enthusiasm, creating attractive lanterns and decorated diyas using eco-friendly materials that added festive charm to the campus. The best entries were selected for prizes, making the event a joyful celebration of creativity and the true spirit of Deepavali—light over darkness and good over evil.

Kindness in Every Beat — Heart Day at Udaya

Udaya Higher Secondary School, Manjeshwar, celebrated Heart Day on 8th October 2025 with great enthusiasm and joy. The celebration was organized by the Kindergarten students, who beautifully connected the theme of Heart Day with love, kindness, and generosity. The programme began with a warm welcome by the KG teachers, followed by a series of delightful presentations by the little ones. The students proudly introduced their parents by showing their family photographs, emphasizing that love begins at home. They also presented short performances showing how different people in society express love and care—portraying roles such as soldiers, policemen, engineers, and teachers, who all serve society with dedication and compassion.
