Colours of Culture Bloom at Udaya Kalolsavam 2025
In his inaugural address, Mr. Jerald Ivan Crasta emphasized the significance of cultural expression in education. He stated, “Art and culture make broad-minded people. They nurture creativity, empathy, and a sense of harmony among students.” His words set the perfect tone for a day dedicated to talent and artistic excellence.
The stage events began with a spectacular Group Dance, filling the atmosphere with rhythm and energy. It was followed by a rich lineup of performances that celebrated Kerala’s cultural diversity and artistic spirit. Students showcased their talents in Vattappattu, Oppana, Group Song, Folk Dance, Vanchipattu, Mappilapattu, Mono Act, Mimicry, Nadanpattu, Patriotic Song, and Light Music. Each performance reflected meticulous preparation, teamwork, and passion, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Beyond the stage, the Kalolsavam also provided a platform for literary and artistic expression through a variety of off-stage competitions such as Story Writing, Essay Writing, Elocution, Pencil Drawing, Painting, Recitation, and Poem Reading. These events encouraged students to think creatively, express deeply, and communicate effectively.
The entire day was a true celebration of art in its many forms — from music and dance to literature and painting — highlighting the school’s commitment to holistic education. Students participated with remarkable enthusiasm and sportsmanship, making the event a resounding success.
The Udaya Kalolsavam 2025 once again reaffirmed the school’s mission to provide a platform where every child’s creativity is nurtured, and talents are celebrated. The event concluded with an overwhelming sense of joy, inspiration, and unity among the students and staff.
