Udaya Higher Secondary School Celebrates Award Day

The school celebrated its Award Day with great enthusiasm on January 31, 2026. The programme recognised students for their academic excellence and achievements in sports.

Awards were presented to four students Alwin Sijo, Ansar Athiz, Ashika, and Shifa for securing A+ grades in the 2024–2025 academic year in 10 std kerela state exam. In addition, eight students were honoured for their outstanding performance at the State Level Softball Tournament. As well as students were honoured who received A+ grade in Kalolsavam and Sasthrolsavam competition.

The Chief Guest, Mrs Sylvia Monteiro, Headmistress of GLPS Vamanjoor, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to set clear goals in life and work hard to achieve them.

The Special Invitee, Mr Basheer Kanila, Guest Parent Representative, appreciated the school for providing quality education and spoke highly of the efforts taken by the management and staff.

In his address, Rev. Fr Santhosh Dsouza, Campus Director, motivated students to believe in themselves, highlighting the importance of courage, character, and confidence in shaping a successful life.
The Principal, Mr Jerald Ivan Crasta, spoke about the school’s commitment to value based education. He encouraged students who did not receive prizes to work harder, assuring them that dedication would lead to success in the future.

The programme was enriched with various cultural performances presented by the students, adding colour and joy to the celebration.

The event was efficiently compered by Jerwin and Rushda, along with Zayan Afthab and Hiba. The programme began with a welcome address by Simin Fathima and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ayshath Fidha.

The Award Day celebration was a memorable occasion that inspired students to strive for excellence in academics and beyond.
