GIGGLE GALA 2025 – A JOYFUL CELEBRATION BY OUR KINDERGARTEN KIDDOS

The kindergarten section of Udaya Higher Secondary School, Hosangadi, Manjeshwar, came alive with laughter, color, and boundless energy as our LKG and UKG students celebrated "Giggle Gala – Happy Day" on Wednesday, 30th July 2025.

The program began with a vibrant procession of the little ones holding colorful balloons, creating a cheerful and festive atmosphere. Their innocence and joy set the tone for a delightful afternoon filled with performances, learning, and fun.

The event was gracefully anchored by Nafeesathul Fahma, and a warm welcome speech was delivered by Aysha Shaza.

Programme Highlights:

Prayer – The event commenced with a short and sweet prayer by the children, setting a peaceful and positive beginning.

Welcome Song – With bright smiles, the children welcomed everyone to their Happy Day.

Happy Dance – Little feet tapped joyfully to lively music, spreading smiles throughout the auditorium.

Magical Words for Happiness – The children recited polite expressions like “Please,” “Sorry,” “Thank You,” “Excuse Me,” and “Welcome,” highlighting the importance of kindness.

Fruit Words for Happiness – Children named fruits like Apple, Banana, Mango, and Orange, associating them with joy and health.

Vegetable Words for Happiness – With equal enthusiasm, they named vegetables like Carrot, Potato, Tomato, and Peas, expressing how they make us strong and happy.

Vote of Thanks – The program concluded with a heartfelt thank you note, appreciating teachers, parents, and friends for their love and support.


Learning through Fun:

The students also participated in action songs and vocabulary demonstrations. Using simple sentences such as “I eat ice cream. I am happy!” or “I hug teddy. I am happy!”, they showcased a wide range of vocabulary related to happiness, fruits, vegetables, and daily objects.

This joyful event was a beautiful blend of learning and celebration. It helped our tiny tots build confidence in speaking, performing, and sharing their happiness with others. Their performances reminded everyone that joy lies in the simplest of things.

Giggle Gala 2025 was indeed a memorable event that left the audience touched by the innocence, creativity, and happiness of our little learners.

The school celebrated Onam with great joy and enthusiasm on 29th August 2025. The program was held soon after the completion of the First Term Examination. As part of the celebration, a Pookalam competition was conducted for the students. The Lower Primary students showcased their creativity by designing Pookalams on A4 sheets, while the Upper Primary and High School students took part in an energetic house-wise Pookalam competition. The four houses of the school displayed colorful and attractive floral designs, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and festivity. Udaya Higher Secondary School Celebrates Award Day

The school celebrated its Award Day with great enthusiasm on January 31, 2026. The programme recognised students for their academic excellence and achievements in sports. Awards were presented to four students Alwin Sijo, Ansar Athiz, Ashika, and Shifa for securing A+ grades in the 2024–2025 academic year in 10 std kerela state exam. In addition, eight students were honoured for their outstanding performance at the State Level Softball Tournament. As well as students were honoured who received A+ grade in Kalolsavam and Sasthrolsavam competition. The Chief Guest, Mrs Sylvia Monteiro, Headmistress of GLPS Vamanjoor, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to set clear goals in life and work hard to achieve them. Colours of Culture Bloom at Udaya Kalolsavam 2025

The vibrant campus of Udaya Higher Secondary School, Manjeshwar, came alive with colours, music, and creativity as the much-awaited School Kalolsavam 2025 unfolded on October 04, 2025. The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Mr. Jerald Ivan Crasta, who officially declared the Kalolsavam open with an inspiring message. In his inaugural address, Mr. Jerald Ivan Crasta emphasized the significance of cultural expression in education. He stated, “Art and culture make broad-minded people.
