Udaya Family Comes Together for a Colourful Children’s Day Celebration
The school celebrated Children's day on 14th November with immense joy, vibrant performances, and enthusiastic participation from students and teachers. The school campus was filled with cheerful faces as the entire Udaya family came together to honour the spirit of childhood.
The programme commenced with an introduction, followed by a prayer that set a reverent tone for the day. Mrs Pushpalatha M extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to the gathering, making everyone feel part of the joyous occasion.
A special wishing song was presented, after which the students of Classes 3 and 4 captivated the audience with an energetic dance performance. School Pupil Leader, Nafeesath Fidah, delivered a thoughtful and inspiring message, highlighting the importance of values and positive behaviour among students.
This was followed by a lively dance presentation by Upper Primary and High School students. Classes 1 and 2 also delighted the audience with their cheerful and well-coordinated dance, showcasing confidence and innocence.
Prize distribution for students of Classes 6–10 was held to recognize the winners of the various games and competitions conducted in connection with Children’s Day. The applause that filled the auditorium reflected the excitement and pride of the young achievers.
Rev. Fr Santhosh Dsouza addressed the students with an inspiring message. He conveyed warm Children’s Day wishes and encouraged students to uphold values such as believing in oneself, showing kindness and respect, and cultivating the habit of learning with joy. His words left a deep impression on the young minds.
Principal Mr Jerald Ivan Crasta, in his speech, emphasized that childhood is a precious treasure and reminded students that discipline and good behaviour are essential for safeguarding this treasure.
Adding to the cultural richness of the event, Mr. Sanil Kumar presented a melodious Mappila Paattu, which was greatly enjoyed by the audience. A graceful dance performance by the teachers brought smiles to the students’ faces and strengthened the bond between teachers and learners.
The programme was effectively anchored by Mrs. Nidhi Shruthi, ensuring smooth coordination throughout. The celebration concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Mariyam Suhaila, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
The Children’s Day celebration was a perfect blend of joy, creativity, and meaningful messages—making it a memorable and enriching experience for all.
