Kindergarten Graduation Day Celebrated at Udaya Higher Secondary School

Udaya Higher Secondary School, Manjeshwar celebrated the Kindergarten Graduation Day on 01 April 2026 with great joy and enthusiasm.
The programme began with a warm welcome speech by Mrs. Shwetha Ganesh. The Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Praveen Dsouza, ICYM Designated Director of Mangalore Diocese, addressed the gathering. In his speech, he spoke about the importance of guiding and understanding children in the modern world. He said that Graduation Day is a moment of appreciation and encouragement, and such memories remain in the hearts of students throughout their lives.
Principal Mr. Jearld Ivan Crasta, in his message, said that Graduation Day is a small but important step in the lives of children. He encouraged the students to continue learning with enthusiasm and expressed hope that they would reach great heights in the future.
Fr. Santhosh Dsouza, Campus Director, also spoke on the occasion. He said that students are guided, moulded and taught many values in school, and they should continue their journey of learning with dedication in the coming years.
The guest was introduced by Mrs. Vijaya M. and the programme was gracefully compered by Mrs. Mary Irene Lalitha R.. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Nidhi Shruthi.
The celebration also included a colourful cultural programme presented by the students of the Lower Primary Section, which added joy and excitement to the event. Parents, teachers and students appreciated the programme and made the Graduation Day a memorable occasion.

The school celebrated Onam with great joy and enthusiasm on 29th August 2025. The program was held soon after the completion of the First Term Examination. As part of the celebration, a Pookalam competition was conducted for the students. The Lower Primary students showcased their creativity by designing Pookalams on A4 sheets, while the Upper Primary and High School students took part in an energetic house-wise Pookalam competition. The four houses of the school displayed colorful and attractive floral designs, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and festivity. The celebration not only highlighted the artistic talents of the students but also helped them to cherish the cultural heritage of Kerala. With the conclusion of the day’s events, the school closed for Onam holidays, which will last for a week. Classes will resume after the holidays.

Udaya Higher Secondary School Celebrates Award Day

The school celebrated its Award Day with great enthusiasm on January 31, 2026. The programme recognised students for their academic excellence and achievements in sports. Awards were presented to four students Alwin Sijo, Ansar Athiz, Ashika, and Shifa for securing A+ grades in the 2024–2025 academic year in 10 std kerela state exam. In addition, eight students were honoured for their outstanding performance at the State Level Softball Tournament. As well as students were honoured who received A+ grade in Kalolsavam and Sasthrolsavam competition. The Chief Guest, Mrs Sylvia Monteiro, Headmistress of GLPS Vamanjoor, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to set clear goals in life and work hard to achieve them. The vibrant campus of Udaya Higher Secondary School, Manjeshwar, came alive with colours, music, and creativity as the much-awaited School Kalolsavam 2025 unfolded on October 04, 2025.
